Healthy Living

I have always been interested in the body and how it functions and responds to food, environment, physical activity, etc. I studied human health at the University of Toronto, and while my career path took a very different course, I never forgot the reason why I find the human body so fascinating.

Consider all the moving parts that must work in synergy so that you can operate optimally. That’s a lot of parts. Simultaneous chemical reactions taking place in different organs and tissues to ensure that you can breathe, move, feel, see, taste. It is totally fascinating.

Over the years I have struggled with my diet and weight – fluctuating back and forth. Now I am on a path to overcome the issues for good. I will share what worked for me and what didn’t. This includes food, exercise, physical therapy, etc. I am not a medical professional and I cannot prescribe any method to anyone reading this blog. You will need to do your own research and consult a medical professional to determine what is right for your body.

This is just an anecdote of my personal experience. Enjoy!
